IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS WHO MAY BE VICTIMS OF SEXUAL MISCONDUCT

If you or someone you know may have been a victim of sexual assault or any other type of sexual misconduct prohibited under the Wake Forest Sexual Misconduct Policy, you are strongly encouraged to seek immediate assistance.

PREPAREPREPARE (Policy Group on Rape Education, Prevention and Response) was founded in 1987 by Wake Forest students. The purpose of PREPARE is to:

Develop and coordinate programs to educate the Wake Forest University community about rape and sexual assault

What do we do?

PREPAREHere’s a sample (more details in the About Us section):

  • Conduct sexual assault awareness and prevention programs for all incoming first-year students
  • Coordinate a campus-wide Sexual Assault Awareness Week called Tie a Yellow Ribbon Week
  • Provide about 60 trained male and female facilitators to conduct educational and awareness programs
  • Sponsor campus-wide programs to educate students on issues of healthy relationships, consent and sexual assault
